⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

The organizer uses the Swiss system across all seven rounds. However, the tournament applies two different time controls during the weekend.

Rounds 1–3 give each player 15 minutes, together with a 10-second increment after every move. These three games take place on Friday evening.

Rounds 4–7 give each player 90 minutes, plus a 30-second increment after every move. Therefore, Saturday and Sunday provide four longer games under standard playing conditions.

🏆 Prize Fund

The organizer divides cash prizes equally among players who finish with the same score. However, the tie-break result determines the official district champion.

Friday includes three consecutive shorter rounds. Therefore, participants should complete registration before 18:30 and prepare for a full evening of play.

Sunday begins at 08:30. Consequently, players staying outside the Haga area should arrange their morning transport in advance.
