By using the website, submitting information, creating an account, sending a registration request, or using any other service provided through the platform, you agree to these Terms.

MyChess.Events is an independent international platform for discovering, comparing, and promoting over-the-board chess tournaments.
The platform may provide:

- Organizer profiles

- Advertising and affiliate links
Unless expressly stated otherwise, MyChess.Events is not the organizer, owner, arbiter, federation, registration authority, venue operator, travel provider, or payment provider for tournaments listed on the website.
2. Tournament Information
Tournament information may be obtained from:
- Official organizer or federation websites
- Regulations and announcements
- Registration platforms
- Pairing and results services
- Public sources
- Direct submissions
We aim to present information clearly and accurately. However, we do not guarantee that information is:
- Complete
- Current
- Error-free
- Officially confirmed
- Available in every language
- Unchanged after publication
Organizers may change:
- Dates
- Venues
- Schedules
- Entry fees
- Sections
- Formats
- Prize funds
- Eligibility requirements
- Registration procedures
- Accommodation or travel arrangements
Users must confirm important information directly with the official organizer before making payments, registrations, bookings, or travel arrangements.
3. Registration Requests
Some tournament pages allow users to send registration requests through MyChess.Events.
A registration request:
- Is forwarded or made available to the relevant organizer
- Does not guarantee acceptance
- Does not reserve a place
- Does not create a contractual relationship with MyChess.Events
- Does not replace the organizer’s official registration or payment process unless explicitly stated
The tournament organizer alone determines:
- Acceptance
- Eligibility
- Section placement
- Entry fees
- Deadlines
- Payment requirements
- Refunds
- Participation status
Users are responsible for providing complete and accurate registration information.
4. Tournament Submissions
Organizers and other users may submit tournament information for review.
Submission does not guarantee publication.
MyChess.Events may:
- Verify submitted information
- Edit structure, grammar, formatting, or presentation
- Combine related festival events
- Request additional information
- Decline incomplete or unreliable submissions
- Correct or remove published information
- Decide how and when content is displayed
Submitting a tournament confirms that the submitter:
- Is authorized to provide the information
- Has reasonable grounds to believe it is accurate
- Has the right to provide uploaded images and documents
- Permits MyChess.Events to review, format, reproduce, and publish the submitted material for operating and promoting the platform
5. Organizer Profiles
Organizer profiles may be created from official public information or direct submissions.
An organizer or authorized representative may request:
- Corrections
- Updated contact information
- Additional official links
- Removal of inaccurate information
- Review of a profile
MyChess.Events may request evidence that the person submitting a request is authorized to represent the organization.
6. Accounts
Where accounts are available, users are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Maintaining password confidentiality
- Restricting access to their account
- Informing us of suspected unauthorized access
- All activities carried out through their account
We may suspend or close accounts that are used unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.
7. Acceptable Use

- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Upload malicious code or harmful files
- Attempt unauthorized access

Underlying public facts about tournaments are not claimed as exclusive property of MyChess.Events.
Third-party names, logos, photographs, regulations, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Limited permission is granted to use the website for personal and legitimate tournament-discovery purposes.
No broader licence is granted unless expressly agreed in writing.

10. Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
MyChess.Events may display advertisements and affiliate links.

Affiliate compensation does not normally increase the price paid by the user.
Advertising or affiliate relationships do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of a third-party provider.

Unless explicitly stated on a particular service, MyChess.Events does not currently collect tournament entry fees or complete official tournament payments on behalf of organizers.
Payments made through organizer websites or third-party services are agreements between the user and the relevant provider.
If MyChess.Events introduces payment functionality in the future, applicable fees, refund terms, and payment conditions will be clearly disclosed and these Terms may be updated.
12. Availability of the Website
We aim to keep the website accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Access may be interrupted because of:

- Events beyond reasonable control
