The IM & FM Round Robin “Radnicki” Kovin 2026 takes place from September 1–14, 2026, in Mramorak, Serbia. Chess Club “Radnicki” Kovin organizes four international round-robin tournaments across two consecutive weeks.

The program includes two IM groups and two FM groups. Moreover, each tournament features ten players, nine rounds, and international standard rating calculation.

The IM tournaments use a time control of 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move. Meanwhile, the FM tournaments use 60 minutes plus a 30-second increment from move one.

⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

The organizer runs each group as a ten-player round robin under the Berger system. Therefore, every participant plays nine games against the other players in the same group.

The IM groups give each player 90 minutes for the game. In addition, the clock adds 30 seconds after every move from move one.

The FM groups use 60 minutes for the game, together with a 30-second increment from move one. Swiss-Manager handles the tournament administration and playing schedules.

A player who arrives more than 30 minutes after the scheduled starting time loses the game. Therefore, participants should reach the venue before every round.

The event includes four separate round-robin tournaments. The organizer schedules one IM group and one FM group during each week.

Several playing days include two rounds. Consequently, participants should prepare for a demanding schedule and remain near the venue between games.

The organizer requires interested participants to pay 50% of the entry fee in advance. Therefore, players should confirm the payment instructions before sending funds.

The Cultural Center stands in Mramorak, a settlement in the South Banat District of Serbia. Moreover, the venue lies southeast of Belgrade and close to Pančevo and Kovin.

The organizer provides all chessboards, pieces, clocks, and other equipment required for the tournament.

🚌 From Kovin Continue from Kovin to Mramorak by local bus, taxi, or a transfer arranged with the organizer.
✈️ From Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport by Public Transport Take an airport bus to central Belgrade. Afterwards, continue toward Pančevo and transfer to route 38 for Mramorak.
🚕 By Taxi or Private Transfer Ask the driver to travel to Cultural Center Mramorak, Zadružna 8, Mramorak.
🚗 By Car Drive toward Mramorak in Kovin Municipality. After entering the settlement, continue to the Cultural Center on Zadružna Street.

Arrival Advice

Round 1 begins at 17:00 on September 1 and September 8. Therefore, players arriving on the opening day should arrange their journey well in advance.

Public-transport schedules may change. Consequently, participants should verify their connections before departure or arrange transportation directly with the organizer.

Airport Transportation

The organizer provides transportation between Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and Mramorak at preferential prices.

Players should send their flight number, arrival time, departure time, and passenger details to the organizer before travelling.

Tournament Equipment

Chess Club “Radnicki” Kovin provides all equipment required for the games. Therefore, players do not need to bring chess sets or clocks.

Anti-Cheating Rules

The organizer will fully enforce the applicable FIDE anti-cheating regulations throughout the event.

Players should follow every instruction from the arbiters regarding electronic devices, access to the playing area, and fair-play checks.
