If several Texas residents share the highest score, they will be named co-champions. In that case, the $375 cash prize is divided among them.
The co-champion with the highest tie-break score receives the first-place trophy and invitation to represent Texas at the 2027 John T. Irwin National Tournament of Senior State Champions.
The $500 TCA stipend is paid after the selected representative competes in the national tournament. If the first eligible player does not attend, the benefit can pass to the second-place finisher and then to the third-place finisher.
