2° Torneo Internazionale di Scacchi Pavia 2026
The 2° Torneo Internazionale di Scacchi Pavia 2026 takes place on November 7–8, 2026 at Castello Visconteo in Pavia, Italy. Scuola di Scacchi Torre & Cavallo and Centro Torri Pavia organize the FIDE-approved festival with the patronage of the Comune di Pavia.
The event offers three rating sections—Master, Tournament A and Tournament B—and six rounds at 60 minutes plus a 30-second increment from move one. The published prize fund is €6,000 / approx. $7,010, including €1,000 for the Master winner and numerous rating, age and special-category awards.
The weekend combines a historic central venue with a compact two-day schedule. The regulations also include a single half-point bye option, a 30-minute default time, strict electronic-device restrictions and an unusual draw of 30 salami among players who do not win a tournament prize.
