2026 London Christmas Congress takes place from December 28–30, 2026, at the University of Westminster Harrow Campus in London, England. The London Junior Chess Championship Charitable Trust administers the congress.

Three six-round standard-play sections are available: Open/U21/U18, Major U1940 and Minor U1600. The Open and Major are FIDE and ECF rated, while the Minor is ECF rated only.

The currently published fixed cash prizes total at least £1,010 / approx. $1,380, excluding the conditional Minor third prize and any additional junior cash awards.

⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

All sections use 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment per move. Swiss-Manager produces the pairings. The default and re-pairing time is 30 minutes.

Players may request one half-point bye in any round except the final round. The request should appear on the entry form or reach the Congress Manager or section controller at least two rounds in advance. A system-assigned pairing bye scores one point.

The fixed cash subtotal currently published is £1,010 / approx. $1,380. It excludes the conditional Minor third prize and possible additional junior cash awards.

A large car park is available. The organizer estimates parking at approximately £12 per day. Vending machines are available, and the organizer expects the canteen to operate approximately 09:00–16:00 each day.
