⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
Pairings are produced by computer. A pairing complaint is accepted only when it arises from an error entering the preceding round’s result and the next round has not yet started.
Illegal Moves
The first illegal move is penalised by adding one minute to the opponent’s clock. A second illegal move by the same player results in loss of the game.
Initial Ranking
The initial ranking uses FADA rating, then FIDE rating, then alphabetical order. Info64 also notes that the FADA rating shown in the national-rating column—or FIDE when no FADA rating exists—determines both initial ranking and rating-band prize allocation.
Removal for No-Shows
A player who fails to appear for two rounds without justification is removed from the tournament.
Tie-Breaks
After the final round, the organizer draws the order of the first three tie-break systems from Buchholz Total, Buchholz minus 2, and Progressive score. If players remain tied, Average Rating of Opponents is applied.
