The Swedish champion in blitz qualifies to represent Sweden at the World Blitz Championship, while the rapid champion qualifies for the World Rapid Championship. The Elite Committee provides a SEK 10,000 travel/hotel contribution per qualifying champion only when the player actually attends the World Championship and presents eligible receipts.
One player can receive only one such travel contribution even if that player wins more than one Swedish Championship class. If a champion cannot or does not wish to attend the World Championship, the travel contribution is not transferred to another player.
♟️ Sections / Groups
The weekend consists of two separate national championships. Players can enter blitz, rapid, or both according to the federation’s registration process.
