SGMS Monthly International Open 90+30 July 2026 will take place from July 10 to 12, 2026, in Singapore. This FIDE-rated standard chess tournament gives players a compact three-day classical event at Katong Shopping Centre.

⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

The tournament uses a 5-round Swiss system. Each player receives 90 minutes for the game, with a 30-second increment per move from move one.

The arbiter will announce the round 5 minutes before the start of play. A player who does not arrive within 45 minutes after the round starts will lose by default.

Players may request one half-point bye between Rounds 1 and 4. The request must be submitted in writing to the Chief Arbiter before the next-round pairing is published.

Parents and accompanying persons should leave the playing area after the start of each round. They may return to the tournament area 15 minutes before the next round begins.

The tournament starts on Friday evening, with registration at 7:00 PM and Round 1 at 7:10 PM.
