The Marshall Masters will take place on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at the historic Marshall Chess Club in New York City. Designed for strong competitive players, the one-evening tournament is open to players rated 2000 or higher and consists of four rapid games played under a Swiss system.

The tournament uses a G/25 d5 time control, giving each player 25 minutes with a five-second delay per move. All games are FIDE Rapid rated, providing master-level and expert players with an opportunity to compete in a compact rated event without committing to a full weekend tournament.

Play begins at 7:00 PM, with four scheduled rounds continuing through the evening. Grandmasters receive free entry, while Marshall Chess Club members and non-members may both participate under the published entry-fee conditions.

Players without a US Chess rating who have a FIDE rating are subject to Marshall Chess Club’s published conversion policy. For pairings and prize purposes, the club uses US Chess = FIDE + 50 when the conversion is required.
