FIDE World Amateur Rapid Chess Championship 2026 takes place from August 2 to 4, 2026, in Abuja, Nigeria. This is a chess tournament in Abuja, Nigeria, in 2026, and it forms the rapid half of the combined World Amateur Rapid and Blitz week.

Players compete for world amateur titles in Open and Women U2300, U2000 and U1700 categories. Moreover, eleven rounds create a substantial rapid championship rather than a short side event.
