⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
The main U2400 tournament uses 60 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move from move 1. As a result, every round follows a serious classical format with enough time for calculation.
The event has 6 rounds with computer pairings. In addition, it follows FIDE rules for standard chess and counts for FIDE rating.
All players rated below 2400 may participate. Unrated players may also enter. The organizer uses the June 1, 2026 FIDE standard rating list to confirm eligibility.
A player may miss up to two games during the first four rounds. However, the player must notify the arbiter in advance to receive a half-point bye.
