Southeast Brazil Youth Chess Festival 2026 will take place from August 28–30, 2026 at Mega Loja Casas Bahia Marginal Tietê in São Paulo, Brazil. Ednilson Monteiro Rosas, widely known as Ed Rosas, is a Brazilian chess organizer, tournament director, licensed International Arbiter, and sports-event professional based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. FIDE awarded him the FIDE Arbiter title in 2022, the International Arbiter title in 2023, and the Associate Organizer title in 2025. His FIDE ID is 22722777, and he holds an active International Arbiter licence.
Ednilson operates Ed Rosas Eventos Esportivos, an organization that plans, manages, officiates, and broadcasts chess competitions. Its services include tournament regulations, registrations, venue coordination, arbiter teams, pairings, rating submissions, live-board transmission, video coverage, and communication with participants.
