19 19 people viewed this event.

Southeast Brazil Youth Chess Festival 2026 will take place from August 28–30, 2026 at Mega Loja Casas Bahia Marginal Tietê in São Paulo, Brazil. The festival brings together youth categories in classical, rapid and blitz chess under one regional championship program. Therefore, young players can pursue Southeast titles and ratings across all three official time-control formats during one weekend.

Players will compete in three five-round Swiss-system competitions. The published time control is 30+30 for classical, 10+5 for rapid and 3+2 for blitz. Moreover, the organizing team maintains separate pairings and standings for every format and age category. The three-format structure lets players test their skills across classical, rapid and blitz chess.

Mega Loja Casas Bahia Marginal Tietê stands beside São Paulo’s Marginal Tietê corridor and provides one arrival point for the complete festival. In addition, São Paulo’s airports, rail, metro, bus and hotel network supports families traveling from across the Southeast region. Consequently, players should review the registration rules, schedule, travel arrangements and official resources before making non-refundable bookings.
