⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
The tournament consists of seven rounds under the Swiss system.
Each player receives 60 minutes plus a 30-second increment per move from move one.
Games are submitted for both FIDE international rating and FEDA Spanish national rating.
Players may request up to two half-point byes. However, half-point byes are not available in the final two rounds.
Participants must comply with the current FIDE Laws of Chess and the additional regulations published by the organizer.

Prizes are non-cumulative. Therefore, a player who qualifies for more than one cash prize receives only the applicable higher award.

By train: Teruel railway station is located close to the historic centre. From the station, the tournament venue can be reached on foot through the central area.
By bus: Teruel also has intercity bus connections with Zaragoza, Valencia and other regional destinations.
By car: The city is served by the A-23 motorway, providing road connections toward Zaragoza and Valencia.
Parking: Plaza de San Juan has an underground public car park. Additional parking is available near Teruel railway station, including a free 24-hour parking area published by the City Council.

Club Ajedrez Teruel is an established chess organization based in Teruel, Aragón, Spain.
