FIDE Grand Swiss and Women’s Grand Swiss 2027 return to the Isle of Man from May 10 to 25. Moreover, fIDE and the Isle of Man organizing team will stage the two elite Swiss-system competitions. Moreover, both events form part of the World Championship cycle.

The combined field will contain 170 players across the Open and Women’s competitions. In addition, FIDE has announced a record combined prize fund of $900,000. In addition, the top eligible finishers will compete for places in the 2028 Candidates under the official qualification rules.

Participation follows the FIDE qualification and invitation process rather than open public registration.
