Tournament A – Open
Tournament A runs as a 9-round Swiss event. Each player receives 12 minutes for the game, plus a 3-second increment per move.
The Open section counts for FIDE Rapid rating. Therefore, players need a FIDE ID to enter Tournament A.
Tournament B – Youth
Tournament B also runs over 9 rounds. Each player receives 15 minutes for the game.
The youth tournament is open to players under 18. In addition, the organizer provides separate youth awards within the section.
The festival follows current FIDE rules. Final standings depend first on points. If players finish level, Buchholz, Buchholz Cut 1, and further tie-breaks set by the arbiter decide the order.

Klub Szachowy LASKER Barlinek is a chess club and tournament organizer based in Barlinek, in Poland’s West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The club was officially registered in 2006 and now operates as the chess section of Barlinecki Ośrodek Kultury.
The organization promotes chess among children, teenagers, and adults. It provides regular instruction, practical over-the-board play, local competitions, and opportunities to participate in national and international tournaments. Its activities take place at Europejskie Centrum Spotkań on Leśna Street in Barlinek.
The club carries the name of Emanuel Lasker, the second World Chess Champion, who was born in Barlinek in 1868. This connection gives the organization a distinctive role in preserving the city’s chess heritage while developing new generations of local players.
