The forfeit time is 60 minutes in every section. Boards and pieces are supplied. Players should bring a pen and a chess clock if available, and they must know how to set their clock.

Mixed Doubles teams consist of one male and one female player. Team members may play in different sections, but their combined average USCF rating must be below 2200. Team registration is due before Round 3.
Players who withdraw from the tournament are not eligible for prizes.

All FIDE-titled players at FM level or above must play in Premier. They do not pay the Premier play-up surcharge when their rating is below the minimum.
The September 2026 US Chess rating list is used for Premier pairings and prizes. The organizer reserves the right to apply another rating system or conversion for a specific player or section where appropriate.

Limited conditions may be offered to GM, IM, WGM and WIM players with a minimum FIDE rating of 2400, subject to availability.
