Schachverein Caissa Wolfenbüttel e.V., commonly known as Caissa Wolfenbüttel, is an established chess club in Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony, Germany. Two local organizations merged in 1971 to form the present club. They were Schachgesellschaft Wolfenbüttel 1946 and Schach-Klub Wolfenbüttel von 1957. Therefore, the club continues a local chess tradition that predates its official foundation.
The club welcomes children, adults, beginners, social players, and experienced league competitors. Members meet every Tuesday at the Elster- und Geitelhaus of Große Schule Wolfenbüttel. Youth training begins at 5:00 p.m. Meanwhile, the adult club evening starts at 7:00 p.m.
