The starting order uses the current FIDE Elo. If a player no longer appears on the active FIDE list, the organizer uses the last published Elo. After that, FADA rating, FIDE title, and alphabetical order apply.
Players may request up to two half-point byes. However, they can use those byes only in the first five rounds. Also, they must request the bye in writing before the previous round starts.
Tie-breaks follow this order: direct encounter, Buchholz -1, total Buchholz, Sonneborn-Berger, and drawing of lots.
Players may arrive up to 15 minutes late for most rounds. For Round 1, the limit is 30 minutes. After that time, the player loses by default.
