⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

Both championships follow an 11-round Swiss format. If a player lacks a Rapid or Blitz rating, another official rating may be used for pairing purposes.

FIDE and the Serbian Chess Federation organize the championship in cooperation with the Municipality of Vrnjačka Banja, delivering a global youth event aligned with international competition standards.

Hotel Zepter Conference Hall, Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia
The playing hall sits inside the official tournament hotel, allowing convenient access between accommodation, dining facilities, and competition areas.

🛎️ Accommodation

Participants must stay in official hotels arranged through the organizer on a full-board basis. Options include Hotel Zepter, ZepterMe apartment units, and Hotel Fontana located approximately 200 meters from the playing hall. Early booking is recommended due to limited capacity.

🚗 How to Get There

Organizer transfers operate on the official arrival and departure days from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Niš Airport, and Morava Airport in Kraljevo directly to the tournament hotels.

Step into a world championship environment, represent your federation, and compete for global Rapid and Blitz titles against the strongest youth players in international chess.

🧾 Other

Strict anti-cheating procedures apply, including controlled hall access, monitoring, delayed broadcasts, and random checks. Appeals must be submitted in writing within 15 minutes of the game’s conclusion together with a deposit.
