Nordsjælland Weekend EMT 2026
Players travel to North Zealand for the Nordsjælland Weekend EMT 2026, a five-round individual tournament that runs from January 9-11, 2026 in Allerød, Denmark. You compete in rating groups of 16 players at Allerød Kulturhus, play classical games that count for both Danish and FIDE ratings, and enjoy free coffee, tea, and water throughout the weekend.
Organizers from Allerød Skakklub, Dansk Skak Union, and the 8th Main Region continue the tradition of the former NSU tournament, stream top boards live, and create strong fields in every group. You fight for generous prizes in the top master group and the lower rating groups, follow clear fair-play rules, and spend a full chess weekend only a short walk from Allerød Station.
