The Faaker See Open 2025 welcomes players back for its 41st edition. The 41. Faaker See Open 2025 offers a superb blend of summer chess and alpine charm. The 41. Faaker See Open 2025 will take place from August 9 to 16, when players from across Europe will gather in the tranquil village of Latschach, near the stunning Lake Faak, to battle it out over nine rounds of classical chess. With strong competition, generous prizes, and a warm tournament atmosphere, this event delivers a rewarding chess experience in one of Austria’s most scenic regions.
