
42nd Faaker See Open 2026 will run from August 8 to 15, 2026, in Latschach am Faaker See, Carinthia. The long-established open returns to Kulturhaus Latschach for nine rounds of classical chess.

The open consists of nine Swiss-system rounds. Each player receives 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, 30 minutes for the rest of the game and a 30-second increment from move one.
