Atyrau Open 2026 runs from October 11–21, 2026 in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, as Stage 3 of the Kazakhstan Chess Cup 2026. The Kazakhstan Chess Federation leads the event with support from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Atyrau regional sports authorities.
The festival contains a Masters Tournament and an Open Tournament. Both are nine-round FIDE-rated Swiss events with 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move and Swiss-Manager pairings.
The official regulations allocate a combined KZT 50,000,000, approximately $100,000, across main, special, and rating prizes. However, the regulations still state that the exact playing venue will be published later, so this page does not invent a hall or street address.
