ℹ️ Other Information
Half-Point Byes
Under Article 6.3 of the RTF regulations, players may request a half-point bye for one of the first three rounds.
Half-point byes are not available for Rounds 4 or 5.
Players must inform both the organizer and the arbiters before the tournament begins, specifying the requested round.
Default Time
Players may arrive up to 60 minutes after the scheduled start of a round.
A player who arrives more than 60 minutes late automatically loses the game by forfeit.
Players must also notify the organizer and arbiters of any planned forfeit before pairings for the following round are prepared.
FSI Membership
Italian players and foreign players resident in Italy must hold a valid 2026 Federazione Scacchistica Italiana membership when the tournament begins.
The organizer cannot process FSI membership applications in the playing hall.
Electronic Devices
Electronic devices are prohibited inside the competition area. This includes mobile phones, smartphones, and devices capable of providing chess analysis.
Any violation may result in sanctions under the applicable FIDE and FSI regulations.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the playing hall. This rule also applies to electronic cigarettes.
Accessibility
Players with disabilities or specific playing requirements should inform the organizer in advance. Therefore, the organizers and arbiters can arrange any necessary assistance.
Photography & Personal Data
By entering the tournament, participants accept the publication of tournament-related information such as their name, category, province, and results.

Award Ceremony
The award ceremony takes place after Round 5 on Sunday, October 11.
