6th Nagpur Below 1700 International Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament 2026 The 6th Nagpur Below 1700 International Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament 2026 takes place in Nagpur from September 4 to 6. The nine-round classical competition is restricted to players who have not crossed a Standard FIDE rating of 1700 during the preceding 36 months.

Games use 30 minutes plus a 30-second increment per move. The official circular publishes a ₹300,000 prize fund, including cash prizes for the top 20 players, rating categories and extensive youth trophies.

The event is hosted at G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology on Wadi-Hingna Link Road. Indian participants must complete the applicable AICF registration, while Maharashtra players must also satisfy the MCA registration requirement.
