Šachový oddíl Stochov, z.s. is an established chess club based in Stochov, Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. Organized chess in the town dates back to at least the mid-1950s. The present association was formally registered in 1999.
During its history, the club has brought together several generations of local players. Earlier teams competed in regional championships across Central Bohemia, while the club also maintained a strong group of adult and junior members.
Pavel Padevět serves as Chairman of Šachový oddíl Stochov. He also works as a tournament director, team captain, active player, and principal contact for the club’s public events.
