Players receive 90 minutes for the game, plus a 30-second increment from move one. This time control applies to all five rounds.

The tournament uses a 5-round Swiss system. All sections count for US Chess regular rating, so players should make sure their US Chess membership is active before the event.

USCF ratings determine prize eligibility in all sections. In addition, the tournament director may assign ratings when needed.

Players may request up to two half-point byes. However, they must declare all byes before the start of Round 1.
