⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
The main Open uses a classical time control of 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move. Both standard groups play 9 Swiss-system rounds.
The Rapid Tournament uses 10 minutes plus 3 seconds increment per move. It is a separate tournament, so players may enter only the Rapid event if they do not want to play the full Open.
Pairings use computer-assisted Swiss-system management. In addition, the Open and Rapid events count for the relevant FIDE rating lists.
Players may request up to three half-point byes in the Open. However, byes in the last two rounds score zero points.

Players may not agree to draws before move 25, except in cases allowed by the FIDE Laws of Chess. The organizers will also apply fair-play and anti-cheating measures throughout the festival.
