🏆 Prize Fund

⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

Both sections use the Swiss system. Standard A is played over 7 rounds with a time control of 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment from move one. Meanwhile, Standard B also has 7 rounds, but each player receives 45 minutes plus a 15-second increment from move one. Therefore, the festival offers two different classical chess tournament formats inside one event.

In addition, the published tie-break order is Buchholz Cut-1, Buchholz, number of wins, and progressive score. The allowed delay is 30 minutes in Standard A and 15 minutes in Standard B. A requested bye is worth 0.5 points.

The current FIDE Laws of Chess and tournament regulations apply. Players must also hold a Central Register ID of the Polish Chess Federation. Electronic devices such as phones and smartwatches may be present in the playing area only if they are completely switched off and placed inside a closed bag or backpack that the player may not touch during the game. Any violation results in a loss. The organizer does not provide an electronic-device deposit service.
