⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

Pairings will be produced with Swiss-Manager. The September 2026 ECF list is used for section allocation, pairings and best-performance awards.

Section Format and time control Rating submission
Open 6 Swiss rounds · 20 minutes + 10 seconds per move ECF Rapid and FIDE Rapid
Junior Major 6 Swiss rounds · 20 minutes + 10 seconds per move ECF Rapid and FIDE Rapid
Junior Minor Two games per scheduled round, alternating colours · 10 minutes + 5 seconds per move ECF Rapid

A player arriving more than 10 minutes after a round starts loses by default unless the organizers can make a satisfactory re-pairing. Players whose opponents have not arrived should also expect to be re-paired where practical.

The published tiebreak sequence is the sum of progressive scores, followed by the sum of opponents’ scores.
