The tournament uses a classical time control of 90 minutes per player, plus a 30-second increment per move. Therefore, players receive enough time for serious calculation in every round.
Pairings follow the Swiss system across 7 rounds. The event has one open group and no Elo restriction, so all players compete in the same main tournament field.
The default time is 60 minutes after the scheduled start of a round. In addition, tie-breaks use Cut Buchholz first, total Buchholz second, and progressive score third.
