1. Halleiner Schachklub is a long-established chess club based in Hallein, Salzburg, Austria. Local chess enthusiasts began meeting in December 1953, while the official club foundation took place on January 16, 1954.
The organization welcomes children, adults, beginners, recreational players, and experienced tournament competitors. Today, the club has more than 50 active members. Around half of them are children and young people between five and 18 years old.
Rudolf Berti MAS serves as Chairman and represents the club in its sporting and organizational activities. He also directs several of the club’s public tournaments and supports its youth-training program.
