The Amsterdam Chess Open 2026 takes place from October 23–25, 2026 at Apollohal in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The large six-round weekend tournament offers four rating groups and expects several hundred players.
All groups use an accelerated Swiss system and 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move. The tournament counts for both FIDE and KNSB rating, while players may request up to two half-point byes in the first four rounds.
At the published 650-player reference level, the prize tables total approximately €10,755 / approx. $12,450. The organizer scales prizes proportionally when participation differs from that benchmark.
