⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
The tournament uses a classical time control of 90 minutes per player, plus a 30-second increment per move. Therefore, players get a serious long-game format within a compact weekend schedule.
Pairings follow the Swiss system across 5 rounds. The games count for FIDE rating and DWZ rating.
FIDE rules and FSI tournament rules apply. In addition, a player who arrives more than 45 minutes after the round starts loses the game by default.

Open A
Open A is for players rated Elo 1800 and above. Up to 8 players rated Elo 1700 or higher may also enter Open A through a wildcard.
Open B
Open B is for players rated Elo 1999 or below. It offers a separate section for club players and developing tournament players.
Open C
Open C is for players rated Elo 1699 or below. It gives lower-rated and improving players a dedicated weekend tournament group.
Special Prize Groups
Special awards include categories for players age 60+, women, U16 players, and U12 players. Some awards include cups or wine prizes instead of cash.
