Michigan Chess Association

Michigan Chess Association (MCA) is a nonprofit chess federation serving Michigan, United States. Over the years, it has supported organized chess for juniors and adults across the state. As a result, MCA functions as a trusted tournament organizer for Michigan’s official championship cycle.

In addition, MCA runs major state events such as the Michigan Open, Michigan Junior Championships, and the Michigan Scholastic Club Championship. Many of these are structured as USCF-rated tournaments, and several are offered as FIDE-rated tournament sections when applicable.
