Founded in 1935, the Romanian Chess Federation is the national governing body for chess in Romania and a leading chess tournament organizer in Eastern Europe. Working with clubs, municipalities, and schools, it coordinates a year-round calendar of FIDE-rated classical, rapid, and blitz events, alongside coaching, junior pathways, and arbiter development.
