9ème Festival International de Perpignan – Open Rapide FIDE 2026
The 9ème Festival International de Perpignan – Open Rapide FIDE 2026 takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the Couvent des Minimes in Perpignan, southern France. Perpignan Les Rois de la Têt organizes two FIDE-rated rapid tournaments: a Principal open and a separate Under-1500 event.
Both competitions use nine rounds at 15 minutes plus 5 seconds per move. Pairings are produced with SharlyChess, and the same detailed FIDE/FFE rapid rules apply throughout the event.
The Principal prize pool is defined as 70% of entry fees, with a provisional reference table that includes €300 for first place and numerous overall, women’s, and rating awards. Since the final amount depends on participation and the current official sources show different headline totals, the separate USD prize field remains blank.
