⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

Both sections use a 7-round Swiss system. Each player receives 90 minutes for the full game plus a 30-second increment from move one. Therefore, the event follows a full classical chess tournament structure across the four-day holiday weekend.

In addition, the tournament counts for both Elo and DWZ rating. The published tie-break order is Buchholz and then Buchholzsumme. The waiting time is 30 minutes from the scheduled start of the round. FIDE rules apply together with the tournament regulations posted on site. Every player must have a valid FIDE ID before taking part.

The organizer also asks players not to bring wristwatches or electronic devices into the event. If a player needs an electronic device for medical or professional reasons, that note must be given in advance in the registration form.
