Znojemská Rotunda Open 2026 will take place from August 1 to 8, 2026, in the historic Louka Monastery in Znojmo. The festival combines classical, youth, rapid and blitz competitions at one venue.
The main FIDE Open and the U18 tournament are seven-round Swiss events. Their classical time control gives players 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, 30 minutes for the remainder of the game and a 30-second increment from move one.
The organizers have also built a broader chess program around the rated events, including training sessions, a simultaneous exhibition, a Town Hall tower visit and an evening wine-tasting activity.
