All standard games use 90 minutes per player, plus a 30-second increment from move one. The time control applies to the Weekday Tournament and the Weekend Congress.
The Weekday Tournament has 7 rounds. The Weekend Congress has 5 rounds. Therefore, players who choose both events can play up to 12 FIDE-rated classical games across the week.
Players may request up to two byes per event. However, byes are not available in the final round of each event.
Tournament ratings use available standard and rapid ratings in a published order. The organizer first checks the October 2026 ECF Standardplay rating. After that, FIDE Standard, ECF Rapidplay, and FIDE Rapidplay may apply.
