In addition, current FIDE Laws of Chess apply throughout the festival. The maximum delay in Open A and Open B is 15 minutes from the scheduled start of the round. Open A requires full notation for the entire game, while Open B requires notation until a player has five minutes remaining. Every participant must have a card in the Central Register. The organizer also states that Open A and Open B may be merged into one section if the number of entries is too low.
