Hvidovre Skakklub is a long-established chess club in Hvidovre, Denmark. The club traces its history to 1942, when local players created a home chess association in Hvidovre. It later became Hvidovre Skakklub and joined the Danish Chess Union structure in 1969.

The club meets at Strandmarkens Fritidscenter on Hvidovre Enghavevej. Its regular club evening takes place on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 23:00, giving local players a steady weekly setting for over-the-board games, tournament preparation, analysis, and club activity. In addition, the club runs a separate children and youth program earlier on Tuesdays, which helps young players enter organized chess in a clear and practical way.

The adult event gives players a weekend tournament format, while the junior event uses a five-round rapid format for young players.
