Coulsdon Chess Club, also known as Coulsdon Chess Fellowship (CCF), is an established chess organization based in Coulsdon, Surrey, on the southern edge of Greater London. The club operates from its dedicated venue at 84–90 Chipstead Valley Road and provides regular competitive chess for adult, junior, and daytime players. It operates as a not-for-profit organization within Creating Community Facilities. The club maintains a particularly active playing program. Adult club chess is normally held on Monday evenings, while a separate daytime club meets on Wednesdays. Coulsdon also runs a junior club, coaching activities, holiday chess camps, rapidplay tournaments, and longer weekend congresses. Therefore, its program extends well beyond a traditional weekly club night. Coulsdon has developed a strong emphasis on formally rated competitive chess. Many of its internal games and public tournaments are ECF rated, while numerous competitions are also FIDE rated. Surrey County Chess Association lists more than 100 regular members and notes that players travel from across London and other parts of southern England to participate in the club's activities.

Coulsdon Chess Club organizes a broad calendar for both club members and visiting players. Its adult program includes internal long-play competitions, team matches, rapidplay events, blitz and speed-chess competitions, as well as weekend congresses. The club also enters teams in Surrey and Croydon league competitions. One of its regular competitions is the Dicky White Tournament, which provides FIDE- and ECF-rated long-play games and is integrated into the club's Monday-night program. In addition, Coulsdon organizes one-day adult rapidplays with multiple rating-based sections where entry numbers permit. Junior chess is another significant part of the program. Coulsdon runs junior Grand Prix tournaments, holiday camps, coaching courses and FIDE-rated junior events. Its events also appear regularly in the English Chess Federation calendar and London Junior Chess Championships qualifying program.

Coulsdon has an established tradition of structured club competition. The Dicky White Tournament, for example, developed from the former Coulsdon & Purley Club Championship before the club introduced a divisional competition structure in the mid-1990s. Today, the club continues to combine internal competitions with externally accessible tournaments and extensive junior chess activities. A distinctive feature of Coulsdon's model is its centralized organization of fixtures and pairings. This enables members to participate in competitive chess regularly while choosing how many events they wish to enter during the season. The club also operates a separate daytime program designed to provide rated chess during afternoon hours.
