Šahovski Klub Dugo Selo is a Croatian chess club and active chess organizer based in Dugo Selo, near Zagreb. Founded in 1997, the club has become a steady part of the local and regional chess scene. Moreover, it supports both competitive players and new members through regular club activity and structured development work.

The club organizes open chess tournament events, local competitions, and memorial tournaments during the season. In addition, it runs rapid chess, blitz chess, and other rated formats under Croatian and FIDE rules. The I. Memorijal Darija Jukića event belongs to this same program and shows the club’s role as a committed tournament organizer in the Dugo Selo area.

Beyond tournament play, the club also invests in junior chess and broader chess training activity. Furthermore, it has expanded its youth work through a dedicated chess school for children and young players.
