Silesian Chess Association

The Silesian Chess Association is a regional chess federation based in Katowice, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. It coordinates clubs, leagues, and competitive chess across the region. Moreover, it serves as an experienced tournament organizer for major events.

The association runs league seasons, championships, and multiple FIDE-rated tournament competitions each year. In addition, it organizes the 2nd International Open Championships of the Cieszyn Silesia Euroregion in Ustroń. The festival focuses on classical chess, while also supporting rapid and blitz chess formats through regional events.

Furthermore, the Silesian Chess Association promotes structured player development and fair play standards. As a result, tournaments are delivered with consistent regulations, qualified arbiters, and reliable rating submissions.
