⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
The organizer runs the event as a seven-round Swiss-system Open without Elo restriction.
Every game uses a classical FIDE time control of 90 minutes for the whole game plus a 30-second increment per move from move 1.
The arbiter applies a 60-minute default time; players who arrive more than one hour late for a round normally lose by forfeit.
The organizer submits all games for FIDE rating and for national rating, so you can gain or lose classical rating points.
Pairings follow standard Swiss-system rules, and the arbiter uses Corrected Buchholz, Buchholz, then Progressive score as the tiebreak order for all prize decisions.
