The Coppell Chess Club has emerged as North Texas’s premier hub for over-the-board chess since its founding in May 2022. Situated in a welcoming clubhouse just off Bethel School Road, the club offers a spacious playing hall, a dedicated parent lounge, and a well-stocked library of instructional materials. It hosts weekly USCF-rated tournaments every Saturday, monthly scholastic events, and summer camps that draw players of all ages and skill levels. The vibrant atmosphere encourages beginners to gain confidence and motivates advanced competitors to sharpen their tactics in a friendly yet competitive environment.

Beyond regular play, the club delivers comprehensive instructional programming year-round through a team of certified coaches. Members benefit from simul exhibitions, master-level lectures, themed workshops on opening theory and endgame technique, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
