Chess’n Math Association (CMA) is Canada’s largest national chess organization dedicated to promoting chess among youth through education, tournaments, and scholastic programs. Founded in 1985, CMA has introduced tens of thousands of children to the world of chess by developing a structured learning system and organizing accessible events across the country. The association’s mission is to make chess an educational and enjoyable experience that enhances critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic performance among students of all levels.

With headquarters in Montreal and chapters across Canada, CMA runs national scholastic championships, manages inter-school leagues, and publishes instructional materials tailored to different age groups. It also offers one of the most comprehensive online chess programs in the country. Through a network of teachers, volunteers, and tournament directors, Chess’n Math Association continues to play a vital role in cultivating Canada’s next generation of chess talent.
