The Nashville Chess Center (NCC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting chess education, competition, and community engagement throughout Tennessee. Since its founding in 1995, NCC has provided a welcoming space for players of all ages and levels to learn, compete, and grow through the game of chess. The center hosts regular rated tournaments, scholastic programs, summer camps, lectures, and training sessions that develop critical thinking and sportsmanship in a fun, structured environment.

As one of the most active chess hubs in the Southeast, the Nashville Chess Center plays a central role in fostering the regional chess scene. It proudly organizes flagship events such as the Nashville Summer Classic and Tennessee State Championships. By building strong ties with schools, parents, and local players, NCC continues to inspire a new generation of chess enthusiasts and lifelong learners.
